comments welcome, this picture was taken back last summer. planning on getting some new one's this year being I no a little more about my Canon G3 now. I love my G3, :lol:

The shot is nicely exposed and has lively colour. It is a bit lop-sided which shows more when there are strong horizontal lines in a picture (like the brick wall). You can correct that easily enough in PS. Anyway, it's a good family album shot but for me, wouldn't win any prizes!

It is interesting Gail and well performed enough but lacks magic. Maybe you should have searched for a more active angle like a closer shot on the sign with the house in the background slightly blurred. Dunno.
Anyway, in this particular shot I would like to either see just the front or all the way to the back of the house. I tried cropping so you just see the front of the house and the lawn with the sign on the lower left and it looked like a pretty nice composition to me. Try it. :)

Yes, it was just a quickie, a snap and go kind of shot. That day a lot of people were there walking by the house and I had to take it fast. But I like your version of the photo warman, very good. I will have to try that. thanks :lol:
