The above are crops from an ISO 1600 shot. Canon 10D 300mm f/4L IS + Canon 1.4 t.c. Image cropped and Noise Ninja'd. No other processing done. I know this isn't a great photo. I used it to show the effects of the noise filtering.

Bottom line: I am very pleased with the program. I saw an earlier thread that mentioned it's weakness. i.e. it's a stand alone program not a plug-in. But that's o.k. with me.

My question is: Where does it fit in the digital workflow? I am using it immediately after converting from RAw, so all my follow on adjustments aren't being applied to noise pixels. Is this the right way to do it?

You're doing it right, here's what the NN author says about workflow;

On another note, he has promised a plugin version for Photoshop soon and he said it would not cost more than $10 for those who already own NJ.
That would save a few steps in the workflow.
