Beautiful cat -- mine is black too! However, we live in a residential neighbourhood so the cat rarely gets "off the ground".
Your's seems to live amoung the rooftops--- let's hope that it has the regulation 9 lives! Nice shots. Beautiful pet.
PS:
I go with image #1 too.

I like the first one, though seeing the whole tail may of been nice (just a tiny bit more it seems)

The first one is definitely the best. I agree about the tail though.
I really feel like I want to know what the cat is looking at.
Thanks for posting a a non-conventional cat picture. I am really getting tired of close-up's of cat faces.

The whole tail is posted, it is simply curled up. I will however include a bit more of the side so you can clearly see that it is curled.
Thanks a lot for the comments and off to work on it. :)

Better.
I can't help but be distracted by that yellow sign, however I like the space over there for the cat to look in to. What do you think? Any chance you could clone it out or maybe change the coloring to make it less distracting?

Absolutely, i'll give it a go.

Actually, have you looked at it in B+W? It look great like that and takes much emphasis away from the distractions on the left. Just another thought.

I never did get at look at it in B/W because i thought the colors on the shot were very nice and wanted to take advantage of them but i will make some experiments and see what i get. For now, is this better?
