You've got to wonder what happened to get this glove here. I like the shot however I have a ton of shots of things like this because I like when I can make up a story about an out of place item.
I can't tell you anything technical about this shot but I like it.
Just barely holding on, one more second and he might fall.

.....it might be related to the Blair's witch project?
Anyway like it (possibly I would like it more if it was a little bit larger, but this is just a thought).

WHOA!!! I just noticed the background. Did you PS this to make that effect or was there something else weird going on?

Only PS is B&W and a tad (very small amount) of unsharp

It's an excelent shot - I really really like it, specially the way in which the glove is on focus and everything else blurs. Actually, this one goes to my "favourites" section. :)
Just a tiny little detail, maybe you could crop it so that the glove is a bit more centered on the photo and not the finger?

No please, keep it as it is. It has grown on me and the finger is the focal point.
Leave it just like that. I will think of that picture for a long time. Well done.

I actually had it cropped because of what was already said and although at first glance it did seem better, the more and more i looked at it i disliked it. It took away from the feeling that this glove is just sitting in the middle of the woods (which it still is).
I'm thinking this could be an interesting thing to revisit when the snow goes away.

There is one branch that crosses in front of the glove (out of focus), I would remove the section on the glove making the branch look behind the glove. If there had been more branches in front I would have left them.
Great shot and thought provoking!!!
