Newborn shots Part II...cc please

Here is another shot I took of the newborn in the previous post. I would like to know what everyone thinks of this. I wish his face was more in focus instead of the ball, and I wish he would have put his little hand on the ball, but I still really like this. Comments? Does it look better in the first (duotone dreams) or the the second (aly's black and white)? Or should I try a different technique? Thanks for any input.

those are interesting but I think I'd rather see the baby cradeld in the glove. I like the first color scheme better than the second.

Agree with above, would rather see cradled rather than smothered.

I'm not a sepia fan, but in this case the duotone works best. I, too, would like to see him cradled in the glove, but...awwwww. Like I said on the other post, you've got the creativity part nailed.

My only suggestion is that I find the crop a bit too tight. There's maybe one pixel above the glove at the top, and just a few below his teensy toes. I think it could use a bit of room to breathe.
