Which Crop? Soccer/Metric football.

So this is my first time shooting soccer. And I'm torn between these two crops for this shot. Which do you prefer?

I like #2. I am usually a sucker for the tight crop.

I'm with shot 1 as well since it has the ball in frame.

as a sports photo editor, neither is great, but #1 is much better simply because it has the ball, players in the forground, and some background. use a 2x3 crop instead of 4x5 crop and take off some of the top and bottom starting with the mainly empty top..
