This is from the Christmas version of the #1 Hits of the 60's show here. They call it How Scrooge Finds His Groove. I really is a fun show.

1. The ghost of Jacob Marley

Not sure on what to add, these are very good shots with very good color. I try to crop to standard sizes wether it a 4-5 or 2-3 ration when showing my work.

It would be nice to post a few more from a wider angle.

Very good job, it looks like you had very nice lighting to work with.

I like the eyes in one...that you got them is great...
These are sharp, pretty crisp shots...with a pleasant interpretation of the event...

Which lens was this with? (pics are at 16mm and at 28mm)

I think the pictures are good enough but somehow they don't convey a story or a sense of theater ... it is as though they are all shots of people in costume without the ambience of a performance. I don't know how or what you might do to get that with this show.

Good point. I could have easily done that with 1 & 3. I actually have the full body shot of 1, I just liked the "close up" crop better. Although the full body shots convey a better sense of his movement. 2 is tougher, I shot it in portrait and they were off center. I played with it a little and came up with this:

There are a few from a wider angle in the album (http://photos.1branson.com/v/2006Shows/1HisOfThe60s-Scrooge/) I put up for this show. It just seemed like most of the show (lighting) focused on certain small areas of the stage at any one time.

Very good job, it looks like you had very nice lighting to work with.
Thanks. It was good lighting. Can't complain there.

Thanks again for the c&c.

You had me wondering myself for a second. :D I used ef-s 17-55 2.8, so you can see why I was scratching my head. They lighting was good, and given I was seated front row center, it seemed like it would give me the most versatility. I can really see the advantage of having a second camera body with a longer lens ready to go. Maybe someday.... ;)

thanks for the comments.

This is where I think I need the most work. I want people to get a real sense of the show by seeing the pictures, but it's very tough.

I think it something that I'll get better at with more experience. Which means taking alot more pictures and getting feedback on how I might improve them. Hope you guys don't get sick of me... :D

thanks for the comments.
