Mi first post of pictures: Madrid

Hi everybody. This is my first time posting pictures on this forum. I am pretty new in the photography world (just bought my first cam, a canon eos400D a week ago) and I thought I should post some of my pics I took this week and ask for some critics and opinion from you. For the moment I only have the kit lenses (the EFs 18-55 mm) but I soon will buy better ones. Well here they are please help with some crits:

I took this one from a bigger distance than my lens allow but it turned out pretty well to post it.

This second one I took without a tripod, I know it is not very sharp but since I could not use a tripod I did my best.

This one is a bit tilted but I like the light.

Oh, I would love to go to Madrid. A month there and Spain in general would be perfect. I like the last pic as well. Personally I would shy away from my own camera, and for good reason lol.

Yup, Spain is just wonderful. I live here for 3 years now and visited a lot of it and I still have a lot of visiting left to do. ;) And why would you shy away from you camera? Just look at my avatar and you'll see I`m not a model eithter lool
