380 EX Flash for G5?

Is the 380 EX flash compatible with the G5? I assume it is, since it is an EX, but the website didn't list it as compatible, and tech support said it wasn't. I'm assuming the tech support guy was reading the same info as I did, and that maybe that was a typo.

In any case, if anyone knows the answer, it would be great to find out, since this will affect my purchase of the camera. My brother has the 380 EX, and will give it to me if I want.

I can't say about the G5, but the flash works flawlessly with the G3.

Thanks, PacAce. I don't own the camera yet, but found the manual online. It's as I suspected. They didn't include the 380 EX in the technical specifications or the brochure, maybe because it was obsoleted at the time.
