Long Eared Owl - Snowy

Shot yesterday in the Jack pines on Amherst Island, south of Kingston, Ontario. Verydark and cloudy on Saturday. Snowy was taken by a birding friend Lissa Bruce, mine didn't come out.

Glad to hear the Long Ears are still there. I was there last week and the paths in the woods there were just about all flooded. I take it they are frozen now.

Nice Snowy image and it looks like an adult male.....great looking owl!

Not too muddy/wet right now. Once it freezes up for the winter it will be perfect over there.
