That first step is a doozy

I think I'm finally getting the hang of photoshop.
I shot this on a D30 in raw, converted it to 16 bit tiff, ran it through linear sharpen and then to gray scale.
I know the tree is a little distracting on the left.

Well I agree that there is Black and White .. the overall fell is towards the darker greys -- whch seems to suit the image (assuming that you wanted to convey a somewhat "dark" mood.

It is a dreary building on a dreary day. I can't seem to break away from the dark side of B&W. It just seems to make everything more interesting.

Would have been nice to get the top of the building. But I like it the way it is too. Yep, first step from the top floor would be a little to large :D

B&W works really well for it.
