"Yahoo and Reuters Want You to be a Photojournalist" and they are not paying submissions they accept for use.
I read this from Steve's Digicams and am baffled, but I understand. Since people are usually just happy to have "their" picture picked, they forget totally that they have put time and effort in and if it is used, it should be compensated. Anyone submitting a photo for this is probably either very vain, or a real go getter who figures that someone somewhere will see the photo and possibly find who took it to get more.
I still and surprised they are not even offering a glass of Kool-Aid or something.;)
