two shots i have recently shot with my new tamron lens..
taken at The Rocks, Syndey Australia...

The interests isn't all that high in either of these, but the textures are very nice. I would crop out the railing on the right in the first image, which would abstract it quite a bit more. I like the colors and peeling paint in the second one, its just a bit flat.

I really like the first shot but I'm not big on the second shot... at all. Monochrome worked well on that first shot!

Very nice texture's in these images.

How does the second one work in BW? I like the first images use of line, helps balance the composition.

im not sure how the second one b&w.. something i should try :D

i have a version of a saturated colour one of the 1st one.. that i should post

Great pics!! I cannot wait to go back to Sydney! That place is incredible!
