Such a poor light!

Anyway, be lenient. :)

Nice shots freddy, and heck they've got clothes on! That has to be change for you.

A couple of things we like when posting performing arts shots is a little history on the show, the venue and the performers. We usually like to see at least 3 or 4 in the series.

Welcome to our world of not being able to control the light.

I like it!
The lighting doesn't seem so bad. What makes it hard is the dynamic range of the dancers's fair skin and dark dresses.

When shooting dance or theatre I like to get down close to floor level so the ugly floor isn't so prominent in the shots. This isn't always possible when you're going for creative angles, though.

Got any more?

Got a ton. Haven't had much time to process them. These were taken at a paid shoot of the end-of-year performance of an upscale dance academy in San José
I will add them to this thread, as they come out of PS.

Fine looking ladies...Like the colors of the set...

Are the ankles better exposed than the heads?

Very nice photograph...and yes the floor is overwhelming to a large extent...

If you've got more don't hesitate, bring them on...

We're all eyes around here...

Very nice shot.
one thing I find a little bit distracting is the black line of the curtain border. Maybe you can blur it in PS.

Nice.
What I don't like is the blown out parts in the middle girls face, and it would have been nice if the distances between them were more equal.
