Alright............This is an update regarding the G3 I sent out for repair regarding blurry shots........

I finally got it!!! (It was supposed to come yesterday but I missed the delivery guy). In any case, the service was excellent. It came in about the time frame I expected (1-3 weeks).

The camera is now functioning as it should (THANK GOD!!!). I was so worried and disappointed in the beginning that I even thought of upgrading to the Rebel!!! But now I'm happy again.........all my shots at F2 is useable and tack sharp!!!!

So now I can hold off on the Rebel.................That is until March when the D70 comes out!!! sike........

ANyways, I am one happy camper tonight. I really missed my G3.

what did they correct and how did ya notice it was something wrong?

I was so disappointed :cry:

I finally had the courage to email Canon 2 months later and they responded right away.

Upon receiving my camera, a letter was attached with info on what was done.

1. Lens was changed.
2. Firmware was upgraded.

Took some photos last night and the difference was night and day. I couldn't be more happier.

I also had good luck with Canon service the first time around. My G3 is currently at Factory Service so I hope that I am happy again.
