Is this a good flash for Macro and will it work on Digital 350d?

hi there my friend is offering me this Canon/ Centon FH95 flash for £30... is it a good flash for macro photography- it's just i don't want to spend too much just now and also will it work on my Digital EOS 350D? thanks for any help

As RM says try it on your camera before buying. Found this http://www.ephotozine.com/forum/viewanswers.cfm?qid=29834
implying that though it worked on a 300D it did not on a 350D.

OK cool; when I said my friend; he's a my brother's friend who lives in America lol... so that's why I couldn't try it out first. will try some flashes in Jessops today? maybe if not later in the week... then probs buy the same flash on ebay lol

Its expensive but the 430EX with an off shoe cord is great and has really helped my macro!
