Meredith Music Festival - Friday

Meredith is a three day music festival featuring Australian and international musicians held about 2 hours from Melbourne on private property in a natural ampitheatre. The organisers limit the crowd to about 10,000 people to keep it comfortable for all concerned - everyone camps there for the duration. This year it was very hot (35 Celsius + every day), dry and dusty with the place blanketed in a smokey haze from bushfires burning several hundred kilometres away.

Nice tats, nice floating guy in turban, nice color and composition ... a couple look a little soft. I was hopin' this was the nekkid wimmen bass players thread, but alas, I will have to wait. :-)

Thanks - I was shooting for a webzine - www.thedwarf.com.au - I had access to the venue and was allowed to shoot but didn't have access to the pit (except for Rose Tattoo).

Thanks Dwight - in case you weren't aware Rose Tattoo are an Australian band who were very influential on a lot of hard rock acts such as Guns N Roses (they covered a Tatts song on one of their EPs).

I do have some naked girl photos from the weekend but they aren't playing bass - before the last band of the festival they conduct a naked race called "The Gift" which is sponsored by Crumpler who make some mighty fine camera bags. I'll post some of the shots of the race and other crowd shots in the thread that is already going for that type of thing in the next couple of days.
