This picture doesn't do this justice. These people have gone to a ton of work to raise money for charity. The lights go to music that's transmitted via fm radio. The Griswalds would surely be envious. If you're in the Toronto area (Thornhill actually), check it out! www.lindsaylights.com (http://www.lindsaylights.com)

great shot Who's the local charity Toronto Light and Power? We have a loca;l guy who does the same thing asks for a contribution to pay Cleveland Electric Illumminating Co. Still fun stuff for those willing to provide and us lens nuts.

You have to love people that do things to excess. Nice job capturing the lights.

Well I'm not showing my wife THAT, we have a big tree in the garden and she would think it a wonderful idea to light it up....and there's no way I'm going that high on a ladder ;)

Wow, we don't get much like that in the UK. Nice lights and great to see the effort people put in. Did you take it with your 70-200, on a tripod? Sorry for the techie question :-)

Thanks very much for the comments. Actually, it was the kit lens on a tripod. I didn't have the distance for the 70-200. It was a 3.2 second exposure at f10....iso 640.

Nice capture. I wonder how long it took to decorate all that.

Apparently 400 hrs. All by hand - no 'cherry pickers'. Their web site is pretty interesting
