how does this work? I'm trying to use it shooting basketball games but it just don't work?

Could you clarify what your question is? if the shutter doesn't work your camera's broken. If it's slow, that's pretty much what you can expect from the non-SLR cameras.

Ok It is just slow. I put it on Shutter and I have to wait awhile to get the 2nd pick!

Yeah I was bout to say, these things have up to a 1/3200 shutter speed and up to I think 2.4fps in high speed continuous shooting mode. Read your manual, pg 62 to be exact :D

Details! We need details! What were you shooting? Where? What were the shutter and aperture settings? Were you using a flash? what mode was the camera in? Can you post an example photo?

I deleted the photos off my card I was just trying to get the whole function to work properly

The complain does not really stand that S2 has slow shutter speed. Improper setting ....I guess.
