There's always something new to learn!

I'm focusing on different lighting techniques at the moment, and I’m having quite the time remembering which lighting setup give you shadows and highlights in the places that you want them to be.

What’s the best way to remember the differences between 1) reflected light 2) Rembrandt lighting and 3)paramount lighting?

thanks,
Carb;)

rembrandt - triangle, theres a triangle highlight incased in shadow on one side of the face. ver dark and contrasty normally, really creates a mood
paramount - butterfly - little to no shadow, striaght under the nose and some on the neck. Light is directly above the model, careful as it can show facial hair and make it look worse than in reality

reflected? well its not a portrait lighting pattern like the others.

the other 2 are loop and split.
