That's quite spooky and really original. Is that selective colouring? I think that would make a nice framed picture. Very nice, Brian.

Thanks Joe :)
Not quite selective colouring- it's a black cat :)
I did edge detect and inverse and then copied it back onto the original and erased around the eyes.

It takes talent to recognize talent.....that's a lofty concept, eh Big Al ?
Certainly, a true macro artist of LordIV's stature can't but transcend ignoble rivalry sentiments.
THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE of a macro cat photograph. Not only technically impeccable, but also artistically rendered.
Good for you, Brian.

It's not so bad, once you get used to it. You'll see, just give it a try. Come on, you can do it!
...and besides, imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

Very good indeed. The angle of the shot is excellent and whatever you did with the post processing has certainly given it the edge.

Thanks for the comments :)
Linda- fairly simple PP-
Just edge detect, inversion then this copied back onto the original shot and the layer erased around the eyes.
