Powershot G2 Chargine Light Code?

I bought a new battery, and now instead of flashing steady orange to indicate charging or steady orange to indicate 90% charge, it's flashing 3 times, then pausing, then three times again. Keeps doing this. Any idea what it means?

Give it some charge time. It's telling you the current charge is below 90%. When it gets to 90% it will glow solid orange, then go green at 100%.

You can use it when it's at 90% and not fully charged but the manual says you should not below that. No damage will occur if you do, just a short usage.

Give it a couple hours if its fully discharge.
