I was trying some manual settings o a few shots yesterday after reading a few articles in here on the topic, lol. F3.2 - 1/1000 - fill flash - iso100 - Tamron 28-75 at 54mm for the shot of the 2 riders. My goal was also to move away a little from the normal shots of "rider filling the frame".

The overlapping riders arms in the 2nd shot is a touch of class:D (IMHO)

Nice shots. I like the 2nd one best. It gives a feeling of depth and space.

Thnx for the comments - I have 100's of individual riders filling the frame, but that gets a bit boring ... Saw some pics from the Trans Rockies race this year which made me think.
