Great series...

Generally what lens combo do baseline shooters use for college B Ball?

They generally use a 70-200 and 300 on seperate bodies. Right now I am using the 85 and 300 on one body.

Thanks for the info - How about for under the basket wide stuff?

24mm f1.4 ?

35mm f1.4 ?

16-35mm 2.8 ?

The reason I ask is I'm thinkg about adding something to my kit ;)

Those will work fine, but you will want something longer on another body. I lot depends on what gym you are in, but the 16-35 would be most versatile.

You'd want something in the 70-200 range, 85 1.8, 100 2, etc.

Thanks - I think I have the long end covered it's the short end that I think I need to pick up.

Since you got the long end covered, Something aroudn 35mm would do fairly well, for the shorter end.

Any tips on how to get rid of the yellow hue reflecting from the floor?

You can use "color balance" or "selective colors" . I'd prefer the latter because its more detailed and you can specify much more. It will help clean up the color balance.

I generally use color balance as he said, but if your just talking about the yellow hue on the white jerseys you can desaturate the yellow some using a hue/saturation adjustment map.

NIK has a great filter in the NIK Color Effect Pro 2.0 called

White Neutralizer

I did a few workups on your images and I think it really enhances them. Let me know and I e-mail you the workups.

you can take a look at one of my white neutrizer workups in this thread

Wow. Top class images. Amazing sharp and I can see very little visible noise in the images. Have you still got the EXIF data. I'd love images that sharp.

looking good on sharpness, color and noise..... my only negative comment is that you're cropping too close - you keep cutting off the ball or heads... otherwise nice work.

Most division 1 gyms will give you around ISO 1000-1600. You should be able to get sufficient shutter speeds, and if exposed right, you won't see much noise.
