Hey POTN,

I'm a new user here, but what the forums have been absolutely magnificient. I'm a regular user of fredmiranda.com, but I've been having a problem with my SD450, so I'd thought I'd ask you guys.

My SD450 has been exhibiting some strange behaviour lately. I always shoot on manual with full control of my exposure (my rudimentary attempts to control shutter speed; I'm too used to my 20D), and recently it's been evaluating that it needs shutter speeds of 1/4 to 1/15 even in well-lit sunny conditions. I checked my exposure settings, and they are default. This behaviour is evident in full auto mode, as well.

I'm not too sure how Canon PS's work, so I can't say I know what's going on, but could it be a problem with the computer that evaluates the shot?

The camera focuses correctly, it just gives me heinously low shutter speeds.

Thanks for your help,
Benry
