On our first day in the Chobe National Park the guide told us they had seen no Leopards for 2 months, then after 30 minutes....

Wow! Those are incredible shots! I especially love the third one. Looks like he wasn't too happy to have company! I hope we are as lucky when we are there. Thanks for sharing these.

Cheers guys. He was the only one we saw in two weeks in Africa (Kruger, Chobe and Okavango) and had the pleasure of his company for about 40 minutes as he wandered around.

Great shots ! We didn't see much other than Elephants in Chobe. Our Leopard was in Moremi. Botswana is wonderful. Unlike East Africa, there aren't 14 other trucks pulling up at the same time to disturb the animals or shooting.

My God, Neil. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. These leopard shots of yours are stunning... absolutely stunning.
It was the one animal we didn't see (much of) when on Safari. How I envy you! I'd be interested to see the original Raw/jpegs if you have them?

Great shots - my favourite big cat! #2 and #3 are the best IMHO
Edit: Does this mean I'm guilty in dimitri's eyes of 'ohhing and ahhing' too much?

We stayed at the Chobe Game lodge and it is the only lodge in the Park, so just a couple of vehicles at any one time. :)

Not sure..... :) I'll have a look at converting one or two with no settings.

I am quite happy for people to 'ooo' and 'aaah', it means people like the shots, up to you :) But if there is a flaw in the picture I would like to know.

Love the richness of the colors of the last shot. The fur just has this warm glow to it, not to mention its sharpness.
