Hiya. Im a 16 year old high school student in Montclair, NJ. I've been into photography for quite awhile but I've just recently started. I got my frist camera in December, Canon EOS Rebel 2000, not digital but eh. Here are a few of my personal favourites that Ive taken since then.

number one is nice but you needed to pan to the right a little. The unfocused and very bright wall near the camera is disturbing and i would like to see more of the subject. So pan right, :)
I like number two, nothing special but then again i think that it would be a question of personal opinion whether someone likes it or not.
number three is nice, too exposed in the face but well done.
number four is just off imho as is number five but the idea was good
number five is great, realy great. Althogh i think the white is just totaly wrong there, the picture in itself is realy good and i realy like it a lot. Congrats on that one.

IMO -
1. Good perspective shot of wall but doesn't work well with location of person.
2. It's a shot I wouldn't have taken.
3. Skin tone to white or over exposed, I do like the pose.
4. Focal point wrong and I'm not a fan off glare
5. You may think I'm the wet sponge after my opions lol
6. Your best shot, I like the lighting and the capture of the drops you my try croping and resizing.
Keep it up and thanks for posting

Well they are all nice.
My fav is 3 . Was it flash that over-brightened the face a bit ? Your challenge on this type of shot will be to lower the brightness on the camera side of the face while deciding what to show us on the far side. Other members have talked about this in earlier posts. I like it. The pose is a tad artificial in that the subject is sort of gazing towards "heaven". The finger ring is a bit distracting too. That said, I doubt that I could do as well.

Thanks a lot for all your comments and very helpful criticism. This was more helpful than I ever expected. Thanks again...
To answer your question about number three I didnt use a flash. That one was total sunlight and I tried to kind of rotate around her to avoid too much brightness but I guess I didnt do so well. The pose, I agree, is a tad cliche but at the moment niether of us could really come up with anything better, it was a more spur of the moment type shot.
And with the last one Ive also thought about cropping it myself, to try and get rid of a lot of that excess tile that takes up much of the shot.
