I went to this show last week. Very talented with many colorful sets. There were some missed opportunities for wide angle shots because I kept the 70-200 on for the whole show. But if I had to choose one lens, I made the right call.

Very nice, number 5 looks like it was taken right before the crash, no flash was used?

Excellent pictures - I really enjoyed looking at them. Thanks for sharing.

Was that the f/2.8 or the f/4 flavour? IS or not?

I kinda liked the look on her face too. As I processed it, I was wondering what she saw that the other 2 didn't. ( A banana peel? :D)

No flash. Especially in acrobatic type shows. Most of these shows won't allow any pictures at all any more because people don't know how to shut off their flash.

Thanks. It's the 2.8IS version. I would have had a really rough time shooting this show with the f/4 version. While I did have a few shots that I shot over f/4 (mostly the bicycling girls), seemed like I was hitting the 2.8 wall much more often and even then dropping the shutter speed to 1/60 & 1/80 (this is where the IS comes into play) at times. With shows with this much movement I hate to go below 1/125.

Thanks for the comments.
