Just looking over the winners list of a digicam contest at the PMA conference and interestingly Canon doesn't feature in the winners. I wonder why that is.
I would have thought that at least one of their G series cameras would have featured. Bizarre!

What do you think should have won?
Based on the criteria they used for shooting and printing the images, I doubt any mid to high end digital camera from Canon is going to win. After all, one does have to process the images from these cameras before printing them to get the best image, right? I'm thinking the winners are those cameras that do a lot of in-camera processing. In other words, the p&s cameras for the average Janes and Joes.

... They must have had a pretty hard time figuring out the winner in the $1300-1799 prosumer digicam category :)
