Canon didn't feature in the list of winners at the digicam contest at the PMA convention.

I would have thought that at least one of their EOS (or G series) series cameras would have featured. I wonder why. I'd have thought that the Digital Rebel would have been right up there...

Wow,. because the awards are daft.. I mean HP, Konica and Casio?

These aren't even cameras..

I see Olympus got one anyway,. but other than that? No NiKon or Fuji, minolta either,. I find it rather bizarre that the companies that are doing the most with Digital received no award (Canon Nikon, Fuji...)

yeah i agree with you...the olympus I can understand and the leica too...its a beautiful camera - but where are the canons, fujis and nikons.

Canon EOS 1Ds is my favorite camera. Can anyone tell me obout a better one? I don't think so. Kodak with its 14 megapixel camera is far away in quality tests from the 11MP EOS 1Ds. No word - Canon is No1!

Looks to me like the Digital Rebel couldn't even be considered based on those categories. It's too cheap for Prosumer, and it's not P&S :(
