Well I had the honor of shooting these ledgendary blues men. They have been together now for 30 years and can still rock the blues. I only hope my images do them justice. For the full soot here is the link. Downchild (http://www.z-photography.ca/Concert_pics/Downchild/)

Nice ... while overall they seem to lack "snap" and some could be cropped tighter, they are good captures and a good assortment.

Thanks Dwight and I hear ya. At this show I was concentrating on getting good clear pictures and I think I managed to do that. As per usual the lighting was very red most of the time and I have tried to remove some of it. I want to get a 70-200 L IS after the new year as I think that may help with crispness you refer. After all I am still using the consumer grade lenses. I did not crop many of the pictures so allot are as shot. Still though I am ever learning and take your comments and work with them. I get to shoot David Wilcox tonight and I just hope they use less red being it is at a different bar then these and he is bald, actually the same bar my Sam Roberts pics were shot at.

These are real nice composition shots...the colors are a bit shy though...I'd try some saturation, tints, specific color accentuation and a bit of contrast...these variables can enhance the slightly dull and pale looks of the blue/grays and pinkish/reds, primaries featured here...

I think dwight has it, they are really nice photos but not great shots - they tell the story well but none would be a cover image - the exposure is bang on in what looks like an ever changing lighting stage !

Thanks guys, this shoot was very red as the location generally is. The flatness is caused by me trying to pull some of the red out. I hear your comments ad will go back and give them another round in PS.
