View Full Version : Problem with ImageBrowser 1.4 for Macintosh

I have ImageBrowser 1.4 on my iMac G3 (233 MHz, 160 Mb RAM, MacOS 8.6) and I have some problem when I try to manage the images in the "Navigator window" ("Ventana del navegador"): when I select "Colour Adjust" ("Ajustes de Color") it appears the message indicating that "memory is insufficient" ("Memoria insuficiente") and if I select the button to "cut the image" ("Recortar"), the program does not execute it and usually the computer turns off (!).
I've trtied to allocate more memory to the program on the window "File>obtain information>memory" ("Archivo>Obtener Información>Memoria") (¡up to 150 Mb!) and the problem persists.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
P.S. Sorry my very bad english. I translated the messages that appear in the computer from the spanish. I don't know how they appear in english. I hope someone understand this topic...

Hi Benjamin,

I would suggest you to throw your mac away to the "barranc" (or the "reguera") and go to buy a "peix".

;D

Even with a smiley, I'm very bored to see that kind of answers. Mac or PC - they all have problems and they all can be wonderful tools.

I searched the net for Mac help sites, and here's a few more useful-looking:

http://new.macfixitforums.com/php/wwwthreads.php

http://www.essentialmac.com/fix/index.html

http://support.info.apple.com/te/te.taf

Hope you get it solved.

That's a terrible answer to a persons question. I guess when you've never been out of the pickle jar, you don't know how sweet the world is. I've had a Mac for years and used a "peix" for work purposes. Both platforms have their pluses and minuses.
