I have a new Canon SD600, in the manual they show to open the A/V OUT TERMINAL Cover, flip it up (it is also pictured in the manual)...I open it about 1/4 of the way and it seems to bind or stick, I don't want to force it open and break it....any help....thanks, barb k.

You have to pull straight out a bit. I've opened mine enough to connect but it has never fully opened.

If you have a fingernail, you should just be able to grab it in that little cut-out wedge and pull, it'll open right up. It's attached by a rubber piece

I think this is the only complaint I would have about this camera...I know it will break eventually if I keep using it. Best solution for me was an SD card reader which eliminates the need to ever open the door.

On the hand strap there is a little "tool" you can use to open the door. It describes using this in the manual.
