I was invited by fellow POTN member and all around cool guy Murphman to shoot him and his band at Joe's on Weed St last night. They were fantastic, if you're in the area I would definitely recommend checking them out. Anyway, here are a few shots I took last night, C&C welcome as concert photography is something I rarely do.

Where is this at? Illinois? What lens did you use? The lighting looks minimal...It's nice to see you were able to bring something back from this venue...The creativity is very nice...I'm glad you didn't use flash...The action is interesting...

Thanks! The lighting was interesting, that's for sure. I used the 24-70 2.8L (rented), and loved it! Yes, that was in Chicago, IL.

Whoa, great drummer shot. All round great work. You've gotta' do this again.

The guitarist looks like an idiot! :D
The lighting is strange in this place. Colored LED's in front, par cans in back. And of course, plenty of red to go around!!!
I like the job you did Brandon!

i like the first one the best, very good capture of the moment.
you might want to downsize these a touch.

Oh, Narlus is right ... I got huge grief for posting at 1000 pixels! The rules, which many of us believe are archaic, say 800 pixels maximum size although the filesize (which is the important thing) is totally ignored.

Nice timing. All look (quite) a bit dark to me though..
