D60? Tell me when you are gettin them pls!

I ordered my D60 from my work, Ritz Camera, and even ME calling my own warehouse, I can't get a DATE. I get oh, in a week, a few weeks, middle of April. Where have all you guys gotten yours so early!

It seems to me that Canon must have just gotten the D60 finalized just before the PMA, which would explain the slow supply of units arriving at outlets. I wonder if this is the norm. Wait until the announcement to see what reaction/ordering takes place and then commit your resources to production. You would think that the D60's demand would have been a no-brainer as far as getting a stock built up considering the tone of the consumer market before its' announcement and that usually Canon's products do sell very well.

I just got my D60 from Ritz on friday. I pre ordered it about March 7th.

Did you order it online? Or did you have to walk into a store to get it?

If you ordered it online, it was mailed to you, then we (ritz camera) prob got them on Wed. cause they use fedex 2day to ship to customers. BUT... they used 3day to ship to our store. SO they must have gotten them on wed, shipped to you by friday, but would miss our shipment day, which is fridays.

We got the Canon A40's in stock, 2.1 mp point and shoot, those will sell well. But a girl that I work with wants the new elph 3z APS, and we didn't get those. So i'm hoping we'll get the rest of canon's gear, including my D60 this coming friday (the 5th)

I ordered mine a bit over a week ago.
