Muskrat in the Wetlands

I was looking for birds to shoot, when this guy toddles out into the sunlight so got him instead. Didn't seem to mind me being up on the walkway right above him. I was using my 400 f5.6 and monopod. Comments welcome.

I am literally surrounded by thousands of these little buggers but I have yet to get a picture as close and clear is this one! Good catch!:D

Well, the wetlands has an elevated walkway over the marshy land, so if you stay quiet for awhile the critters will come out. This was the first time I have seen one so clearly.
Right after I took this picture he dove under the water and was gone.

The critter 90% of the people call a Beaver over there. Good getting one Karen!

Yes, I think it would be good to shoot a beaver! ;-)
