Those last shots are wonderful.
May I ask which lens you were using?

you never fail to please scott75 - well done....again!!

Hi everyone!

If I were to able to offer any advice it would be to perhaps just tweak the saturation levels a little to get some more colour out of the liveries, and even at a very basic level maybe the contrats as well as it was a nice bright sunny day. Would you mind if I tweaked one just for fun?

other than that I've always loved your V8 shots...

( even though he only has 7 posts to his name scott usually posts great pics on various V8 forums in case you're wondering what I'm on about!) )

I agree with rabbits, they are really nice shots but you need to give them a bit of a tweek to make them really stand out.

All the shots I took needed a little bit of work to make them look there best most of it was due to the smoke haze.

No I don't have a problem with you playing with them, thats fine. I shot over 300 on the Friday but it takes for ever to go through them and put them up on my site. I've tried with my webmaster to make it easier for me to upload but he can't seem to get it to work. I have to upload everything individually including thumbnails.

So you can imagine with over 300 photos it would take me for ever to do that. If anyone has some suggestions on how I could go about posting them quicker them that would be great.

And thanks for the kind words. Also just a quick mention I am working freelance for the new motorsport magazine Ignition. It's available at all all newsagents. The next issue is out in the new year.

I know what you mean about going through images, I shot just over 4000 in the 3 days, so far I have managed to get a dozen onto a webpage, hopefully I'll have them all sorted before I go back to the Island for Superbikes :-)

Yep, 4000 and I didn't do much shooting on the Sunday. The old MarkIIn was smoking :-)

I've posted a few, the web link:

Rabbits, thanks for those tips with fixing the colour and saturation. In Photoshop I was having trouble getting the right colours but I didn't try the levels and saturation. It worked a treat so thanks for the tip.

No problem at all.

Just one thing on the saturation though - just watch out for the change in colour cast over the picture. What I end up having to do is boost saturation to anywhere from say 15 to about 35, say, but then I also add up to around +3 to +5 in the hue as the red boosts to much (and you really notice it in the grass especially)

That last one really shows the true HRT red nicely!
