I have all but quit posting new photos to my EE galleries. Why? Because I am now using Photoshop CS and it is killing my EXIF info and I am entering all the data by hand. Tonight I just posted 8 new pictures. NO FUN!!! Does anyone have a working solution to this? Pekka, when is the next version coming out?

Hi Paul,
Sorry, I understand not, is the problem Photoshop or EE? Who does kill your exif? I cannot reproduce this, because I have Photoshop 6.0 (still).
I have heard a lot of good comments about Photoshop CS, hence I guess, you speak, that EE does not read this images, where you edited with CS?
Also Adobe, like a lot of camera-vendors, does change the format - specs with every new camera or program.
Not easy for a programmer, specialy if he does not work for a big company.

Photoshop CS saves EXIF data in XMP data block and not in normal EXIF at all. EE 1.5 reads this data.

Ok, I give up: I'll put EE 1.5 RC2 updater for 1.5 beta 5 out for testing tomorrow, even if it is not fully finished... its unfinished features are not critical by all means and they are not database-related.

I like keeping the date/time lens, etc. informaiton up to date and it is going to be good agian soon. Thanks Pekka.

Can't await to install the new version with the integrated FTP-features.
Can we help anything testing the 1.5RC2, can we give you reports, advises, testing systems, various browser, upgrading the translations?

If you download the update for CS on the adobe site, it apparently fixes the EXIF problems.
