My Dad has an old Konica film camera. I don't know its model. He wants a simple flash for its shoe mount for use with a wide angle lens.
I know next to nothing about flash. Does anyone know whether the Metz Mecablitz 20 series C-2 would work?
Thanks in advance for your help.

...and what model of Konica? The model/vintage is a question simply because a number of manufacturers made their flash synch circuits as electronic switches (rather than mechanical contacts) that are sensitive to excessive flash trigger voltages, switching over from the mechanical design which were immune to this problem..

Thanks, Curtis & Wilt. I don't know the answers to your questions, but I will try to find them.
