Very nice Marie !! Dynamic, full of life yet abstract in that all the "participants" tend to their own business...
Eye catching, brings a smile when you see this photo...
Thanks for sharing,

I really like your conversion technique in both this & "betting boys"... Don't change a thing!

I love the way the baby and mother are looking in the same direction. Good Work.

Excellent use of triangle-enforced composition there. You have the pram being pushed onto a collision course with the two Asian(?) lads, and you've created the third angle by the view of the baby and mother in the other direction.
A very pleasing composition for the eye to follow.

I really like this one Marie, I love the effect you did to and the composition of the people hustling about in all directions is wonderful.

This works very well and has a very old feel to it, but for a few giveaways!

its nice that you all 'saw' the scene
when giving it that title I was hoping it would be understood as to the reason why

in their lives and on their ways

I agree about the few giveaways and thought that a pity  (can't have everything) as I felt the same about the shot
at first glance it looks old time type. but a nice mix in modern times I suppose (which I liked too)
many thanks Ian

Great composition in black and white, has a lot of interest to it, lots of movement - and for me it's a change to see people WALKING about their business instead of jumping in their SUV to drive 100yards to the next store :D

Hey, I am really digging you stuff these days! This could've been another crowd shot of random people going in random directions, but your choice of setting, timing, and conversion, make it very interesting. I like the stones on the ground a lot for this one.
