First shots with my new 17-40mm L... cards!

This lens is amazing! I am finally a member of the L club! I haven't had much time to do landscapes because I live in a very landscape-unfriendly area, but I did a few quick shots today. I can't wait to try this lens out some more! (click for full size):

Love both shots. But the fact that I could see the black cloth on the second bugged me a bit.

You have quite a bit of talent. Congrats on the new "L" I agree with the blanket showing at the bottom as being out of place.

Looking back, I agree the cloth looks out of place. Actually, I didn't have any cloth to use, so I used the inside of my winter coat ;). I thought it would create a casino-table feel, but after seeing the edit I think it's just distracting.
