my sincere apologies for the long delay
Congratulations Alan # 1
Boutty # 2
Rafael # 3
Alan, thank you, its terrific picture of smokey atmosphere and whats going on (and all around) with the bigger chimneys in our world. they look so dominant and powerful (pun) against the sky
I realise in warmer climates there are not many 'household ' chimneys Boutty and Rafael
many thanks for finding some types and I appreciate what you entered
the pictures all show different aspects of emissions
love your shot Boutty, with the cat perched there on that nice 'patterned ' ..is it a corrugated 'roof' ?
reminded me of 'cat on a hot thin roof'
thank you
:)
and Rafael, thank you too, this is a very special type which is good to see and there is undoubtedly a very interesting story behind yours............. and all the pictures
every one is a winner and it was difficult to decide as each picture has its own merits of what is in use in the different countries
best wishes to all
END
__________________Challenge # 98 - chimneys or their ilk
not sure there are many of them left but a photo of any kind of chimney or whatever type of funnels are used instead of the old fashioned chimneys around and about the area you live in
a picture of a type of 'smokey' (or otherwise) outlet used daily in cold weather
during this busy week ..... your entries will be very welcome
Santa especially will be very pleased to know what kind of chimney he has to visit shortly :D
thanks
and best wishes
