First picture post.........

And I'm nervous because I am just starting out with my Canon A630 and because there are so MANY talented folks here. :) I am really enjoying myself here, looking at all the great captures and good reads!:D Any comments or suggestion are appreciated. I was monkeying around with settings and this is what I came up with!

Welcome - perhaps an interesting composition, but the white balance is definatlely off and it is out of focus, you should use more light or a tripod.

It's a nice atmospheric shot and may look a bit cold if the white balance was corrected?

Okay, thanks everyone for your help. I am going to give it a whirl again tonight and see the difference.
