I like the first image, but the color temp is a bit too much on the tungsten side. Otherwise, the focus and lighting are really nice (and makes me glad that i have graduated)
My parents used to have the same lamp as the one in shot #2 :-)

Haha, I like to try different tools in the Photoshop, sometimes the output is pretty weired:D

One of my neighbor gave me the lamp for free, it's quite old but works well.:)
