i know that pekka is working very hard on the next release version... it would be excellent to get the script and be able to move existing exibits to the new version to be able to test more fully and put it to operation under load... (i think :wink: )

having been a developer and beta tester for numerous packages over the years, i know what its like to be in pekka's position... but that doesn't stop me from wanting, either :lol: :lol:

I've been waiting so long for an upgrade script. The new features seem awesome. There are many pictures I would like to add to my gallery but haven't had the time to do it because it is a little tedious to add more than a few photos at a time and to process them all.

agreed... i've currently got 4 or 5 exhibits in my gallery with several more to add with quite a few picts... v1.22 is so slow on my hardware, though, that i am loathe to beat on it too much... i've got to either find a way to speed it up without throwing hardware at it or i've got to bite the bullet and just jump on in to 1.5...

i've still not gotten an answer from pekka about the restriction of 1.5 not being allowed in a production environment :(

Any idea yet? I'm still with 1.22 as I don't have time to deal with the hassles of running a beta, but I'd love to save more time by not having to put all the EXIF data in manually.

Will Pekka be creating scripts or instructions on how to move from the beta scripts RC2 with patches specifically to the final golden master of 1.5?
