This is Puggie. He is cute. Lola you do not wanna see, even for a Pug she is totally, tragically , deformedly, incontrovertibly ugly.
I thought I'd put this on record for future reference, so that you know.

Lola's still cute, see the white dog smiling? The other dog's tail is blurred, hence meaning that the white dog is wagging its tail. :) (or it is at least on my screen) :D

The little Quasimodo Lola has been likened to a Star Wars Bar extra, a microwaved ET and such.
I think you are right, her bug eyed condition not only makes her a fine specimen for macrophotography, sadly, she could also be afflicted by a chronic thyroid disfunction.:(

It's called Graves Disease.(Google it) Barbara Bush has it, too, and that's what causes her eyes to bulge. It's cute on Barbara, and it's cute on Lola.

It's OK Nutkin, before I took up photography to relax my mind I used to regularly look down a camera of a different sort! I worked with a gastroenterologist and used to assist him with gastroscopy and colonoscopy daily for about 10 years! Lola is beautiful! :lol:

I just showed the picture of Lola to my husband and he had a number of comments (surprise, surprise) - first of all he wanted to know if she can see, since her eyes are looking apparently in different directions. Then he said she looks like a fish :confused:

Well apparently there is a fish in Bahamian waters known as a porgie (not puggie) that has bug eyes and a flat nose! (sorry Lola, this is him talking, not me! I still think she's cute!!:D )
