My new A710 has one green pixel on the LCD. When I start the camera up I can see it and then when I review all the photos via the camera I can see It. This green pixel is always in the same location.

This problem isn't affecting the photos (image quality) when I review them on the PC. This isn't a major problem, but I'm annoyed that the camera is only one week old and potentialy I have to take it back for repair. :(

Has anyone else seen anything similar on any other Canon digital camera.

I have seen this before. It's a "hot" pixel on the LCD. It doesn't change colour but instead stays on in green and won't turn off. No fix for this that I'm aware besides a new LCD.

If it's a week old, the place you bought it from should give you a replacement as opposed to sending it out for repair.

Good luck!
