This is a shot I took during a photo shoot with a model friend of mine during the summer. We were at a museum in Edmonton and saw this statue out in the yard, so Christina climbed up in the lap and did some poses. I just fooled around in photoshop when we finished the shoot and after about 10 minutes came up with this edit. Just wanted to get some feedback on this shot.

i like the angle and pose, though i think the lightning might be too much... unless you wanted to use it for an album cover of some sorts, in which case i think this image is great.

I thinks this shot is awesome. Really creative work here. I don't think the lightning is too much in this case. I think you were probably going for an over the top look with this shot. Good job! :D

I agree, the lightning is a bit much, was just using photoshop brushes and thought they'd be fun to use in the sky. I just felt there was a lot of open sky and wanted to do something with it. I don't have an album cover to submit it for, but that would be cool if I did. Any suggestions on how to edit it without the lightning? Should I crop it?
I did another version, from this shoot, this time with purple colours and again lightning and brush play.

This picture I don't really like. Her eyes are TOO dark and the colours and brush work never really worked for me. I like the edit I posted above better. Anyway, just thought I'd share this version too.

Thanks for the comment, I was attempting to make this picture a bit extreme and adding the lightning I felt would hopefully balance with what Christina was wearing, which was in my opinion, a bit out there. :) We were getting looks from a lot of the Edmontonians that were walking around the museum and not used to seeing a girl in gothic clothing posing with this statue. I thought if I just left the sky alone it'd be a gothic dressed girl sitting with a statue and the setting would conflict with the subject. It was a fun edit and so far I am really pleased with how it turned out. I played around with colour in the sky and have a few other versions but this one was my fave.

Maybe the source point for the lightning is a bit bright on the right bolt. Other than that I like the mood you went with to match the model's look.

The second picture, is definitely a bit off on the lightning, but I love the cloud color, and the glow you added to her ring. Very creative!!

Really eerie. I like it, it's dark but beautiful.
