Rounded spots when taking picures with Canon A60 camera

Hi,

I have a Canon A60 camera for about 2 years and in the last few months I have noticed some rounded spots when taking pictures with this camera.
It does not happen all the time, the problem appears to be random.

I have attached a sample picture.


What could be the cause?

could be out of focus dust/dirt on the lens

Search this forum using keywords "flash", ""bubbles" and "flare" and you will find a thread about two weeks ago that explains the problem. It's not due to anything on the lens.

Reflections from the flash of dust in the air.

Probably the flash's reflection causes the bubbles.
