How to keep comment fields from RAW to TIFF?

I'm just starting to experiment with using CRW. I notice I lose all my EXIF data (I think) when I convert from CRW to TIFF in Photoshop. Also, can't put a comment in TIFF, or can I? I'm using PHotoshop 7 with Canon RAW plugin, have also tried Breezebrowser, but am a bit lost with trying to keep data so I have comments with my photos for posting on web.
